Installation of SOLVER in MS Excel 2016

Load and Activate the SOLVER in MS Excel 2016

SOLVER is available in MS Excel for model optimization.

 

To install SOLVER in MS Excel 2016, follow the steps described here.

 First Click the File tab, click Options.

 

Then click the Add-Ins category.

 

 

Locate the Manage box, appearing at the bottom of Add-Ins window. To download ‘SOLVER Add-ins’, in the Manage box, select Excel Add-ins and then click Go.

 

In the Add-Ins box, check the ‘SOLVER Add-ins’ check box, and then click OK.

  

 

 Click Yes to install ‘SOLVER Add-Ins’, If your system prompted with the message that the SOLVER Add-Ins is not currently installed on your system.

 

Once the ‘SOLVER Add-Ins’ is installed in your System then under the ‘Data’ tab in the main menu, ‘SOLVER’ button will be displayed.

 

 

 

On clicking the ‘SOLVER’ button, ‘SOLVER’ window will be prompted on your screen.
